Bertie Blair is one of the most likable flyers in pigeon racing.
The lofts are former NIPA Young Bird Nat winners from Talbenny, and have been close again on a few occasions to topping the NIPA.
Mervyn Eagleson penned a few words on the most recent season for the high-flying Blair & Rankin. “Bertie enjoyed another top season racing with the Mid Antrim Combine winning 4 x 1st Combines and also won the Champion young bird of the year award and young bird average. Racing with the NIPA Bertie won the NIPA Section B young bird fancier of the year award and the New North Cup for best average OB Penzance and Dale YB National”.
